Seventy kilometres northwest of Da Nang lies the Bach Ma National Park, one of the first protected areas in central Viet Nam and part of the Truong Son Mountain range.
Explore the tropical rain forest of the park which contains 1,715 species of fauna and 2,373 species of flora. Some are rare and precious species: red-shanked douc langur, Wolf Fire, silver pheasant, leopard, saola, Truong Son muntjak; the plant species Fokieniahidginsii, Aquilaria crassna, Sindora tonkinensis, Sindora siamensis.
Guests have the opportunity to stroll along the forestwalks whilst enjoying the views over the lush mountains.

07.30: Your guide collects you from your hotel.
08.30: Arrive at the Park’s headquarters. Visit an exhibition about the Park’s fauna and flora.
09.30: Drive to Vong Hai Dai (observation point) for spectacular views down to the coast.
12.00: Lunch at a forest canteen.
13.00: Depart on trails to Ngu Ho (Five Lakes) and the Do Quyen waterfall. Experience the tropical forest atmosphere and enjoy the birds singing.
15.30: Depart for drive back to Da Nang.
17.00: Return to your hotel. End of services.

1 Bring sunglasses, sun cream, sun hat on sunny days.
2 It’s important to dress for the season and the weather. Even in the summer, the weather can be changeable. Walking shoes and waterproofs are recommended. Some areas of the park can be muddy.
3 Leech repellent is needed during the rainy season.
4 Listen carefully for the sounds of birds and insects.
5 Stay in the group with your guide and move quietly.
6 Focus all your senses onto one thing – a tree, a flower or a rock. Pay special attention to how it looks, smells and feels.
